What is Auto Detailing?
In simple terms, auto detailing is the application and combination of systematic processes associated with cleaning and/or cosmetically restoring as well as protecting your vehicle's interior and exterior surfaces in order to maintain or return the vehicle to day one standards or better.

This includes the processes of exterior cleaning and decontamination, paint enhancement and correction, exterior sealants and coatings, as well as interior cleaning, shampooing, coatings and protectants.

What is a Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic Coatings are the "now" evolution when it comes to protecting your vehicle. These products contain chemicals that bond strongly to the medium they are applied to, and are much more durable than traditional compounds found in waxes or other products. This means that a Ceramic Coating is a stronger, more durable sacrificial protective layer that can last up to years on the surface it is applied to, rather than weeks or months when properly applied.

My Car is brand new! Do I still need paint correction?
Just because your vehicle is new, it doesn't mean that it is in perfect condition. Most new vehicles carry scratches, swirls, sanding marks, buffer trails, overspray, environmental fallout and so on. Furthermore, new cars come with little to no protection when brand new and has likely already sat in a holding compound in the elements for weeks to months.

Is dealership paint protection a Ceramic Coating?
Sometimes maybe yes, sometimes maybe no! Sometimes these products are just a warranty! Most of the time, these paint protection products are high priced, carry interest when included in financing, and designed to be applied with little to no preparation and decontamination. These are usually polymer based paint sealants. While paint sealants are not snake oil, they may require reapplication in shorter terms and are not a more permanent solution.

Doesn't my car just need a vacuum and a wipe down?
Alchemy Auto Spa's concept is to return or keep your vehicle in as good as or better than day 1 condition. Everything is geared towards "like new" results (with some limitations). In order to achieve these results, no, your car does not "just need a vacuum and wipe down". Instead, Alchemy Auto Spa takes the steps necessary to achieve excellent results!
